There are 5 main Chinese festivals.

     Spring festival

     Spring festival, also known as Chinese new year is the most important festival in China. Special songs that match the mood and atmosphere will be sung on this day. This website has a few examples of different Spring festival songs. Spring festival music

    Lantern festival
    The lantern festival is a big festival that includes many performances and parades, involving lanterns (hence the name). During these performances and parades, traditional Chinese music is played.
